Boundary Committee Tasks

 

• Create boundaries that balance enrollment for the student population at each school, beginning 2006-2007 through 2009-2010
• Attempt to avoid splitting neighborhoods whenever possible
• Give high consideration to the importance of two intermediate schools feeding each junior high
• Explore north/south and east/west lines and diagonal lines
• Consider the impact of potential Lincoln-Way High School expansion
• Consider state transportation guidelines and district guidelines relative to bus route safety and route length (time on bus)
