WELCOME LETTER
Dear Parents and Community Members,
On behalf of the Board of Education, it is a pleasure to welcome you to our New Lenox School District 122 web site. In addition to providing current information, we have designed our web site to serve as a useful guide for our entire school community of parents, students, teachers, friends, and neighbors. All areas of the District are highlighted, including the Board of Education, Staff and Student Services, Educational Services, Administrative Services, and each individual school building. Basic information is also available for your review including the school calendar and the official school report cards.
District 122 has a legacy of educational excellence and has earned a reputation for producing high achieving students with one of the lowest per pupil expenditures in the State of Illinois. Although our students consistently perform well on state and national assessments, our district is also considered to be one the top rated districts in Illinois due to its strong parental support, high student attendance rates, outstanding curriculum, and a highly collaborative relationship with our teachers and our community.
District 122 is an organization that strives to prepare all of our students for the future. This is evident through our Board of Education’s strong commitment to maintaining the high level of expectations for our entire learning community. Under their leadership, and in collaboration with our staff and community, we are dedicated to developing effective partnerships that will continue to enhance the entire school community. We look forward to providing the very best learning opportunities for all of our children.
