New Lenox School District is pleased to announce Dawn Pechukas as the Assistant Principal of Liberty Jr High. Although she is new to the district, Dawn shares the strong educational commitment to the student, staff and families of New Lenox School District 122. Prior to joining the district, Dawn was Principal of Old Quarry Middle School in Lemont. She was a classroom teacher for twelve years, Dean of Students at Queen of Peace High School and was the Assistant Principal of Old Quarry Middle School
| Dawn's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Education with Business/ Computer Education Concentration with a minor in Physical Education from Eastern Illinois University, a MA in Computer Education from Governor's State University and a Type 75 Administrative Certificate from Dominican University. | |
| Martino Jr High will welcome a familiar face to the position of Assistant Principal. Gwen Fisher has been a teacher in the district for ten years. In addition, she has also served as the Martino Athletic Director since 2001. Gwen holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University and a Masters of Arts in Leadership/ Type 75 from Olivet Nazarene University. Current Assistant Principal Leslie O'Connor will be taking over for retiring Principal Del Bitter. |  |
