Virtual Backpack

New Lenox School District is proud to support the “Going Green” initiative by implementing a new approach to communicating messages from our community partners, government agencies and select businesses with our students and their families. We will no longer be sending those fliers home in backpacks with our students, but rather posting them through the Virtual Backpack link that appears on our web site homepage.

New Lenox School District has multiple requests from outside organizations to distribute promotional/ informational materials to our students. All approval for disseminating this information is based on our School Board Policy. All requesting organizations should be aware that the only material considered for publication on our Virtual Backpack will be an activity that a school aged student can participate in. NLSD 122 does not participate in advertising products or services to the parents of our district.

Organizations wishing to have their fliers appear in the Virtual Backpack should e-mail a PDF to Jenny Zimmerman at jzimmerman@nlsd122.org. If approved, all fliers are limited to a one month posting.
