Welcome to 6th Grade ELA!! My name is Melanie Berwanger and am excited to be a part of an amazing district, school and classroom! This is my 9th year in the district and 13 years teaching. My husband and I have two adorable children that keeps us busy when away from School.

I enjoy crafting with my daughter and decorating my home. I also coach my daughter's cheerleading squad in the fall. I enjoy watching my son play baseball and flag football.
Graduated From:
Governors State University with an Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education with a Language Arts Endorsement and a Master's Degree in Special Education.
Family:
Married and have two kids.
