Welcome from the Superintendent

On behalf of the staff and Board of Education, I welcome you to New Lenox School District 122. It is with great pleasure that I serve as the Superintendent for our school community. Our schools are an integral part of the community and the District is fortunate to have the support of our parents and community members. Together, our mission is to promote academic excellence which focuses on the growth of the whole child.  We will stimulate children to develop pride in themselves, community and country, which will be reflected in their present and future decisions.

We are committed to this mission and have developed high quality and comprehensive educational experiences that prepare your children for the future. Understanding that mastering the concepts and applications of the academic curriculum is key to the success of our students, we rely on our caring staff to make it come to life. Our teachers demonstrate exceptional dedication to their students and schools. It is not uncommon for teachers to provide special learning opportunities outside of school hours through coaching students for academic competitions, sports, or individual tutoring. But support for your children is not limited to our teachers. Our support staff, whether in the classroom, office, or custodial services share in the same desire to see each child succeed. These people, along with support from our parents are the foundation the District relies on for its high student achievement.

I want to thank you for your interest and support of our school district. We need all our community members, whether a parent or a neighbor to accomplish our mission of educating each child for the future. Raising and educating children is never easy, but it is ultimately a joyful experience for everyone in the New Lenox School District 122 family.
