Director's Biography

Robert Groos joined the New Lenox School District 122 Administrative Team in 2014. Robert brings several years of financial management experience to the organization. Robert began his career as an auditor with Crowe Chizek, later became a financial analyst and cost accountant for Caterpillar Inc., and then finally found his calling in 2008 as a school finance and operations expert. Robert enjoys the great variety of challenges that school financial management offers.

Mr. Groos is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Accounting and a MBA. He also passed the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam, the Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations (SFO) exam as well as earned his Chief School Business Official (CSBO) endorsement.
