Registration Homepage

 

Welcome to the New Lenox School District 122 Registration Homepage. All students are registered online using the PowerSchool Enrollment Express System (the registration system is located in the "Forms" tab in the left margin of your PowerSchool screen). Registration Calendar

New students for the current school year: Register anytime

New Kindergarten students for next school year: Register in April (the first Monday in April – the third Friday in April)

Returning students for next school year: Register in April (the first Monday in April – the third Friday in April)

New students for next school year: Registration opens in June (the first Monday after the last day of school)

 

New Students (Including Kindergarten for next school year)

Please complete the New Student Pre-Registration Form (link provided below). After completing the form, you will receive an email from the District containing instructions how to create a PowerSchool Account and how to complete the full registration process.

Documents you will need in order to complete registration

After you complete the full registration process in PowerSchool, the Registration Department will contact you and let you know your student’s first day of school information. You should hear back from the Registration Department within 2 to 3 business days after you finalize your online registration process.

The registration fee for all students is $250 and is due at the time of registration. School fees are paid through RevTrak / PowerSchool. Payment Instructions are provided below.

As of January 2023, NLSD122 is now using a new Web Store online payment system. If you have not yet created a Web Store account, you will be able to do this using the School Fee Payment Instructions link provided above.

Reminder: Current Cherry Hill students (including speech only services) who are attending NLSD122 Kindergarten next fall are considered "returning students” (see below for returning students).

 

Returning Students

Please complete your returning student registration online by logging into your parent Powerschool Account (link provided below). Once in PowerSchool, select your returning student, go to Forms, General Forms, and then complete the process.

Residency Affidavits:

Families registered under an affidavit must fill out an affidavit form and provide updated residency documents each school year. Please email all required documents to Registration@NLSD122.org or drop the documents in the District Office drop box located at 102 S. Cedar Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451.

If you have any questions regarding the affidavit process, you may email Registration@nlsd122.org. Letters regarding the affidavit process will be sent out to returning families each school year.

 

Homeless Students

If you believe that your student qualifies for Homeless Services, please contact the District 122 Homeless Education Liaison, Christa Blatt at cblatt@nlsd122.org or 815-485-2169. 

McKinney Vento Facts for Families

 

Past Due Balances:

Any parents/guardians with an existing past due balance by April 1st will need to contact the NLSD122 District Office in order to gain access to the PowerSchool system. Please contact us at payments@nlsd122.org with any payment questions or to setup a payment plan.

 

Financial Support:

You may apply for National School Lunch Program free or reduced meals by completing a Free & Reduced lunch application.  An application may be downloaded from our lunch program webpage or you may request an application by emailing financialsupport@nlsd122.org. If you qualify for the National School Lunch Program free or reduced meals, you can also then request that your school fees be waived or refunded based on your free meal status. Please contact financialsupport@nlsd122.org to make this request. Please note that fees cannot be waived for prior school years unless you qualified for free or reduced meals during the prior school year(s) in question.

If you are sure your child will not be returning next school year, please contact your student’s current school office to complete the drop/transfer process.
